Dear Families,

The flu hit the Keenoy house this week!  I'm not sure how I did not end up with it, but "knock on wood" so far so good.  Since I'll be seeing each of you next week and wrote detailed progress report comments, I'm keeping the green sheets again this week.  I'll keep you informed if there are any concerns.  I look forward to visiting with you at conferences next week.

Shakespeare's Fundraiser
Please consider participating in this fundraiser.  The original information was sent home a couple of weeks ago, and a reminder note will be sent home today.

Keenoy Kardinal of the Week-Abdulrahman
Hello, my name is Abdulrahman! I'm 10 years old and my birthday is May 13th. I have a wonderful little sister who is 16 months old, an older sister who is 13, a mom, and a dad. I was born in the United Kingdom and I'm very excited for the rest of the year. I enjoy doing science and math. I'm in the Paxton Keeley Math Club and I'm ready to go to state! My favorite book series is the Land of the Stories. I love to go on vacation and travel around America.

 The next Kardinal of the Week is Kenicia. Please bring any pictures or items that you would like to put on our bulletin board that is located outside of our classroom.

Keenoy Kardinal News                                       2-1-19 Dear Parents, Another short and cold week of school!   I enjoy Winter, but earlier this week was too cold.   This weekend, I am looking forward to traveling to Rockford, IL (near Chicago) to watch my son play soccer on Sunday.   Thank goodness that the temperature will be in the 40’s and not in the negative 40’s like yesterday in Chicago!   Kardinal of the Week-William B.
